Leveling the Playing Field

Leveling the Playing Field

When someone says healthcare issues, Canada isn’t the first place you think of. With national healthcare, everyone always assumes that everything is as smooth as silk in that area north of the border. But that isn’t entirely true. There are issues relating to health care, especially the need for a national pharmaceutical strategy and the need to develop electronic health records (EHR) for all Canadian citizens. This interesting information came to us from iPolitics in their article, “Great Canadian Healthcare Debate: Tackling systemic priorities.”

Technology continues to play more of a role in health care in Canada and around the world. The drive to bring collaboration and efficiency to healthcare records is not limited, nor is the need.
